Anderson’s Great Schools of Dune trilogy
A prequel to the original Dune, it tells the story of how the Rossak Brotherhood evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident with Valya Harkonnen using her voice comes from one of them called «Mentats of Dune.» The three books intertwine the development of the Sisterhood, Mentats, Navigators, and Suk Doctors.

Honestly, the entire time I was watching this show, I felt like it should have been on the SyFy channel. I’ve heard that you have to read the book to really understand this show, which is perhaps why I didn’t find the plot rich or engaging (because I was distracted by everything around me, which is what happens when I lose my attention).
Unfortunately, I think this show falls into the category of recent shows like Rings of Power (which I think is even better)
While you can see that the production value was strong, it just doesn’t seem like a good fit for the MAX network, especially with their other big hits.
