KJ and Dan have a hard time communicating. After several years of strained relationships, the couple take a weekend trip to a friend’s cabin to rekindle their romance… only to find a dying, but not quite dead, mouse stuck in a sticky trap. They disagree on how to proceed, with KJ advocating a quick death while Dan suggests making the mouse’s final moments as comfortable as possible. The pair agree to a compromise and move on, slowly finding their way back to each other in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their peace is disrupted by the arrival of a petite woman who can only be described as «eccentric» – she’s the younger sister of their host and had no idea that anyone was staying at the family cabin. No problem if she collapses, right? As the couple tries to juggle this intruder on top of their already tense dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this awkward third wheel could threaten more than just their relationship…
