A remake of the Thai film Bad Genius (2017)
Tale
A group of enterprising high school seniors join forces to shut down a clever college admissions scheme. Early in the film, there is a scene where Lynn calculates the cost of commuting to a private school she visited. The film shows a stack of public transit tickets, clearly marked with the SEPTA logo, which stands for Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority.
Remake from the Thai version
SEPTA operates in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Thirty minutes later in the film, Lynn and her dad identify the city as Seattle. References Juureta (1977).
not boring, not bad
Even this version can’t compare to the original, but the story looks interesting.. like I could see how to pass the exam in the American version.. Not many American movies do this much of this movie..
so it’s like something fresh to see
and show the movie to real Americans, that people in the world always see Americans as rich or have money, nice job blah blah, but this movie shows poor life, life is so good and funny it’s written in the movie a Thai name.. it’s so weird, hahahaha, but that’s a small detail.. the actress who played Lin was great in this movie. many times.
