I live in Darby, MT, where most of this is filmed – just yesterday they filmed me across the street in a field with a few horses and cattle. I think the show is a pretty solid story and in that niche where Costner does his best work. One thing I noticed in the first season, considering my half-Indian side, is that it makes you wonder who the good guys and bad guys are – maybe both sides are both good and bad. I admit it’s great to see them filming. When I’m here, the ranch is just down the road from me, and I pass by almost every day on my way to fish the Bitterroot River.
