Porky Pig and Daffy Duck are Earth’s only hope when they face the threat of an alien invasion. The film was originally intended to be a streaming-exclusive release on the streaming service Max. After the company released it, the film was sent to other distributors, with GFM Animation eventually acquiring the worldwide distribution rights and remaking the film into a theatrical release. In the meteor, when Daffy shows off his knack for levers, he pulls the lever to lower the machine and pushes it back up. Porky does the same later in the scene. But when Porky and Petunia are strapped in, Daffy pushes the lever forward and the machine still lowers them. At the end of the end credits, Porky Pig gives his classic statement: "That’s all the guys!" only to be interrupted by Daffy Duck, who tells him that this is not the end of the film and that they need a sequel. Mr. Bass Man, Johnny Cymbal was written by Digitrax Entertainment through an arrangement with Covered Records, Inc. I really liked the movie. The story is a little, well, crazy, but what else do you expect from Looney Tunes, but it works as a Daffy Duck and Porky Pig movie. However, I have to say that the action was over the top. Sure, we’re talking about Looney Tunes here, specifically Daffy Duck, but still. Then I found the humor a little lacking. There are some funny moments, no problem, but that appropriate wit and humor that defines Looney Tunes was missing or rare. But otherwise, I can recommend the movie for a modern-day hand-drawn animated film. This review comes from Germany, where the film has already been released.
